this african daisy is my favorite. nope, didn't work today, went shopping.

recap

mandy and her friend came down. we went to find a store that no longer exists, had a pretty awful lunch, and played pool in the middle of a friday afternoon. that was cool. saturday sabrina and i went to the art festival, where she got her face painted. we had dinner where we met up with kerri to share happy birthday wishes. there she is. 30 and all. sabrina had her face painted, again, on sunday. this time it came with a magic show.


and we went to the beach saturday night. different. fun.
   

more like home

we hung pictures and stuff on the walls last night.

it is so good to be home. this week has sucked. royally. it's nice to be home. sitting in my office, as lindsay calls it. :-) i don't work tomorrow [yippee] and mandy is coming in town tonight. and saturday is kerri's 30th birthday, so she's be in town as well.

the weather is nice. it would be even better if i could open some of these windows [they are all painted shut].

our hideaway

so there's this pantry off the kitchen. a pretty nice size. it has been transformed to our room. and by ours, i mean paws and i. yep, all this space, and i can totally see us hanging out in this closet. here's a pic of each side.
     
and a pic of the floor shows proof that it is paws' room, too.
     
bonus: paws is getting accustomed to the place.
     

moving day

okay, so don't ask me how i am able to post these pictures, it might get me in trouble. but here you go! the girls didn't want me to post any pics of them from saturday since we all looked like hell. so here's their feet instead.



we had to snap a pic of the futon by the curb. complete with hole and all. then, right when everything was out of the old apartment, guess what? we had to jump start two vehicles.


paws waited not-so-patiently in the car. poor thing.


after all that work, we went to kelly's for a bite to eat and to relax. sabrina snapped this pic of the beer.
