all-city arts

the chorus event from last weekend was part of the all-city fine arts festival. in addition to the best fifth grade chorus members in the city, there was the all-city band and artwork on display throughout the ted. here are two horrible pictures; the lighting at these events always throws off my camera.



and with this video, which is also shot horribly, you can get a taste for what they sounded like.

the car is fixed, thanks to a new battery and cables, the all-city chorus event went well, and i cannot seem to find any nice geraniums in this town.

first, find a space

i have organized (by class) all of my notes from this past year nicely into this box. of course, i had to organize the entire closet to make room for the box. no worries, i like it.

the next step is to go through these notes and organize by some theme (yet to be discovered) and incorporate the notes here with the books and readings (not pictured, there's no way it would all fit into one box).

the carnival/talent-show/fun-times-for-all was last weekend at the school. here's a link to a very poor video of the kids (mine is in the middle, with the all-important tambourine). you can get the gist of it.
