sabrina has found a new friday at five friend. lindsay couldn't make it so gabe joined us. kerri called and 'begged' me to go out with her last night - she even found me a babysitter. how could a girl turn that down?

i actually had friday off. can you believe it? the day started out with a trip to the dentist where i got two metal rods put into my mouth. i saw lindsay's new place, then visited with my mother. i also hung out with gabe, he seems to be doing alright.
today i finally got my hair cut. what a relief.

today is the United Way's Day of Caring. we had five groups of volunteers at TDP. the pic on the right is of some of my co-workers.

'talking bout true love

she started talking bout sin...' labor day was a good time. we went to the beach for part of the American Music Festival. we saw the Georgia Satellites and the Charlie Daniels Band. we ate at a restaurant on the boardwalk so we could enjoy the music and lunch at the same time. the 'party' continued at home, but Sabrina went to bed early to get ready for the big day.

or not. it was a stressful morning. couldn't work today since i couldn't find a babysitter. paws didn't care, though.

she's chillin. and you know what? the nightmares came back. i was free for about a week and a half. this time i was pulling out my own teeth. it was a bloody mess.

busy weekend ahead

sabrina and i went on the American again last night. i talked with some tourists from NY and they suggested i make it a weekly thing. hmm...maybe monthly.

i wish i could post the video on here. it is funny stuff.
i'm awfully glad i was able to do something with sabrina since i am working all day and night today and saturday and sunday, too.

summer's over

yesterday was the last day of the Boys & Girls Club and they had an end-of-summer carnival to celebrate. for five bucks, i got myself a cheetah girl.

p.s.: the red eye remover on the Kodak software is the best function ever. for this pic, though, i almost left it in. it was wild.
