first, find a space

i have organized (by class) all of my notes from this past year nicely into this box. of course, i had to organize the entire closet to make room for the box. no worries, i like it.

the next step is to go through these notes and organize by some theme (yet to be discovered) and incorporate the notes here with the books and readings (not pictured, there's no way it would all fit into one box).

it pained me a bit this morning to take a perfectly baked cake and crumble it, but i did. by the end of the afternoon, however, these little bites were made. they may not look like much, but these are the tastiest things i have ever had. i also made a cake and covered it in sprinkles, too, that you can see in the background.

here are some pretty unexciting pictures of birds. i watch tons of them each morning, we have lots of blue jays, cardinals, etc. i am curious, though, what kind of bird is this on the left? it's like a small kind of pigeon. they are everywhere.

the christmas pics!

what happened to all this time i was to have? i'm still putting stuff away. the holiday was fantastic, filled with laughter and love.

and for the record, the trip was 346 miles.

we've actually been ready for over a week now, if you call this ready. we got a few little things for inside, too.

i have to say, i do like the "little pumpkins."

an aside: we had the melting pot tuesday night and it was, of course, awesome.

... but we got a new bed! hooray.



on a side note, i'm not sure i've spent so much money before in one day [i paid for the eye surgery today, too.]
