four eyes

these are some freaky glasses. to the right is the stuffed shells we had for dinner the other day. the significance of this is that the kid helped me make them this time. she wanted the pic up here.

almost a stay-cation

we went to williamsburg this weekend. we did not have much of an agenda in mind, just wanted to do something different.
we were checking out the shops at merchant square when we walked down and saw the colonial houses and what not.

these two pics are from the yankee candle store. i had no idea whis whole village existed!

we also did some shopping. eric and i got some tennis shoes while the kid opted for tee shirts from the outlets.




on saturday we went to yorktown and enjoyed ice cream over the riverwalk. the weekend was gorgeous. this dude is from the victory center.

more jenga fun

this tower was taller than those pics previously posted. it gets my heartrate pumping...

eric came back this weekend. we all had a nice dinner on saturday and played some games. the weather has been nuts. friday it was over 70 and warm. then the wind came in and i have felt like our apartment was going to blow away, wizard of oz style. i just spent 45 minutes trying to get into the frozen car to take the girl to school. ah, winter fun.
