saturday morning

the pic on the left was taken two three saturdays ago. the pic on the right taken five minutes ago. this is what every saturday morning looks like in our house.

a mystery

i've lived in this apartment for almost three years [can you believe that?] and i've always wondered what was in that building. well, since a new company took over this property, they have been doing stuff back there. i guess i'll never know what it was.

dang camera

i'm sick of camera error #E45. it happens all the time and i have to spend time turning the camera on and off to finally get it right. today, it was stuck. nothing could help it. i tried troubleshooting at the kodak page and they said it needed repair. hmmm... i threw it in the floor. it worked. here's the pic.

she has this new toy...a string that has grabbed her attention for the past few days....

easy like sunday morning

all day, really.
it seems that yesterday was movie day. started off with Napoleon Dynamite, moved onto The Grudge, Garden State, and ended with Happiness. of the four, garden state was the only one worth anything. [i'd seen happiness previously and it's too disturbing to be considered 'worth anything.' thanks lindsay, but i'll never watch that again.]

i also purchased ray yesterday. i'll have to watch that tonight after class. oh, and happy valentine's day.

construction

at the end of last year, we wrote a very large and important grant to the Norfolk Foundation. and we got it. now we are under construction at the shelter. it's a bit loud during the day, but it is all worth it, since we need more space. they are expanding the current office and adding on a larger one. this is just the beginning. i will keep you updated, of course.



btw- i think my implant friend and i are going to have to break up. i'm not sure i can make this work.
